MO5AIC (aka Mosaic) is a five-man, vocal supernova that has been hurling its hyper-charged sound waves through space since 2002. Merging style with technology, Mosaic will leave you scratching your head, wondering where the "band" is. Give them five mics and they'll give you a show. It's that simple.

Mosaic was named MTV's Top Pop Group and the five gents that create this all-vocal and uniquely fresh sound have been seen on national television many times over, from America's Got Talent to the CBS Early Show to NBC's Monday Night Football. Voted "Next Great A Cappella Group" by none other than Boyz II Men, Mosaic frequently shares stages with A-list talents. To date, they have worked alongside and/or collaborated with Prince, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Cee-lo Greene, Taboo of the Black-Eyed Peas, John Legend, Chris Rock, Robin Thicke and Tony Bennet, to name a few. Prince was quoted as saying "With Mosaic around, who needs a DJ?" Tony Bennet went on to say "Mosaic is the best vocal group I've ever heard." Never disagree with a legend.

Sonically, Mosaic brings a new flavor to the scene, with their intricate harmonies and tight blend. Whether you experience them in packed arenas, or underground club, Mosaic is going to hit it hard and get you on your feet. Mosaic is both an original artist and corporate favorite. In tackling the concept of the "cover-tune," Mosaic brings a wicked spin to everything it touches, leaving many to argue which version of the song they like better (check out their new EP entitled "5," which is available at www.facebook.com/mo5aic). This EP demonstrates Mosaic's ability to take a popular song and turn it on its head, without hurting it of course. While recognizable, each song takes on a new life and feel. Mosaic would also like everyone to know that instruments were harmed in the making of this EP.

Having made Las Vegas home, Mosaic hit their own funny bone, becoming a sort of "house band" for Jay Leno's Vegas stand up routine for a stint, and also shared the stage with funny man George Wallace at the Flamingo for several years. They were invited to sing on the red carpet for both the Grammys and shortly afterward, The Oscars (it's also worth mentioning that Mosaic was invited by Prince, to sing at his post Oscar party, held in his home). Founding member, Josh Huslig was interviewed for the book "Pitch Perfect," written by Mickey Rapkin, featured on NPR and ELLE Magazine, which provides an in depth look at the reemergence of a cappella music. When not creating, arranging, editing, recording or otherwise immersing themselves in music, Mosaic can be found eating massive amounts of food together in random places.

"As MO5AIC continues to push down a door that many feel to be immovable, they remain steadfast in the idea of taking a cappella to the mainstream. "Thank you to those that believed in this idea. And thank you to those that didn't." ~JH
